This one day course will give you the basic skills to make an apple cider & scrumpy or Pear cider (Perry) and then we will taste an apple cider made in 5 days using just smkt apple juice.

Due to the many customer inquires-and the experience of the last 2 years we are opening our gate on this Extra day for the first days sales of fruit trees with the new bare rooted tress available now plus our potted range as well.

we are open most fridays over the  winter period for Fruit tree sales

Telopea Mtn 2011 Fruit trees, Berries, Bushes & Citrus available

Pears, cherry, stone fruit- plum, nectarine, peach, figs and so much more available as bare rooted stock - with some in pots, The citrus are available in dwarf 1mts tall, 20cm pots, or larger advanced trees plus double grafted pots as well, some excellent for cold climates.

This list of apples will be available in winter june - Aug as 1year old grafted trees barerooted, some will also be avaialble as 2yr old in pots. or fresh grafted to the rootstock of your preference.

for current list you need to send me an email as availablility changes often due to small amounts of a very larg variety of trees.

the 2010 Petty's apple tasting Open day

What a reaction from the public, last year while the group was in transition we had about 360 people show up, in 2010 we had around 4000.

We had to call the police to help fix the traffic jam around 1-2pm and they closed the entry down to control the traffic so if you were unable to attend we sinceley apoligise for any inconvenience.

Heritage fruit trees for Werribee Mansion

Silvia and I were happy in Nov 2009 to deliver some of our Heritage fruit trees from our nursery that will be used to reinstate the 1920's Orchard behind Werribee Mansion, although records of the original varieties are not available apples, pears, plums & Quinces will be planted to add to the existing old trees that were very overgrown, we also know peaches were grown in the times of 1923-1
